Finished projects from the weekend

Here is what I finished over the weekend.

This Chaos marine is from Dark Vengeance and is a practice color scheme.

 And this is Typhus who I painted on commission for a local gamer.

Tournament list Grey Knights

Recently there was a 1500pt Warhammer 40k tournament held at the local gaming store. I had a lot of fun even though I didn't get top spot.

Here's how the day went for me and my Grey Knights.
Round 1: against Sisters of Battle
Diagonal deployment
Result: Win 9 to 1 on Objective Points

Round 2: against Chaos Space Marines
Short table edge deployment
Result: Loss 1 to 4 on Victory Points

Round 3: against Blood Angels
Long table edge deployment
Result: Win 5 to 1 on Objective Points

Work in progress

My week has been packed with school needs, but luckily I did get a break on the weekend to get the brushes out. Here are some of my weekend's work in progress projects. 

Weekend progress

It was a busy weekend. Played in a "Who's the Boss?" Warmachine tournament, but sadly got one win and took me out of the last place slot. While there I was asked to base coat up a fellow's Trolls so he can have a head start to bringing a fully painted army at Lock & Load. 

Here are a few other projects that will keep my little free time busy during the next month.

Tau Pathfinders

A buddy of mine did a conversion on these Tau Pathfinders and asked if I would sculpt some cloaks and masks for him. I went the extra bit and painted them to match his Cities of Death style army.

Still working out the video editing software. I hope you enjoy.

Dreadfleet

Hello once again today I present to you Dreadfleet by Games Workshop.
This has been my main project for the last few months. Tried out some new techniques and a few new products. Overall my impression of this kit is very impressive and daunting. The level of detail is great and each ship is unique in it's color scheme.
I hope you enjoy the hard work that went into painting this set.
