Myth: unboxing wave one

Just recently I received the first wave from the Myth kickstarter. Overall the quality is top notch. Artwork is impressive and the boards are good quality. The minis themselves have a good feeling to the plastic and the detail is what you can expect from people over at MERCS.

First thing is that this box is pretty big. I couldn't fit this thing in my normal light box so I had to use the ground for photos.

These are some of the kickstarter exclusives that came from the campaign: story quests, metal tokens, card sleeves, metal hero plaques, and the Torch bearer mini.

Unboxing: Super 3D Dungeon Boards

Opening the mailbox is becoming a surprising event now that all my the Kickstarter pledge rewards are starting to ship. I received today a box from www.figurepainters.com who's funding campaign was for Super 3D Dungeon Boards. For my pledge of $15 I got eight colored potion bottles that I'll be using for Super Dungeon Explore. I'm happy with how they turned out and I think I'll invest in the boards themselves down the future.

Kickstarter is addictive

Shiny object syndrome has struck me recently and it seems to all be centered around Kickstarter. I find that splitting between friends helps justify the cost.

Here are some new projects that I've pledged into.
If they strike your fancy, why not go ahead and pledge your support too.

Bombshell Miniatures Kickstarter campaign

I happen to love pinup, it's an inspiring form of art. I happen to have a few friends in the pinup lifestyle and their attitude on life is so uplifting, not to mention they look stunning. So that gets me to the topic on hand; Bombshell Miniatures has started a kickstarter campaign to promote a miniatures line that features pinup babes.
