Here are more photos of the drawing prize I did for the Inter Mountain Cup. I wanted to do something with a lot of light effects and after exploring the Privateer Press site the Pyre troll and Storm troll caught my eye. The diorama base would be done in the yin yang symbol.
I used a spare 120mm base for the yin yang. Cork board would build up the area and I scrapped at it to give it some texture.
I primed the basic colors using vallejo surface primer.
Flock was added to break up the colors just a bit.
Finally I added black basalt and baking soda to the base.
